Holy cow

I really need to update this.. I'll try to do it this week with pictures and stuff.  :) You few people who actually look at my blog must think I fell off the face of the earth. Actually not. I would tell you all what has happened the past few months but some of you already know, the rest of you probably don't care, and those of you who do care... I'd get yelled at for posting that all over the internet. SIGH... so maybe I'll just start fresh.

Little Things

Today apparently was my day to be creative! I stamped a lot! I feel accomplished.

This one is an idea I got from Michaels. Hope you like! The pics DO NOT do it justice, but I am gonna post it for eye candy anyway!!

Quilt Card

These cards are from a Stamp-a-Stack at Jen's house!

Linnaire and I did ours together. These cards were pretty easy. The hardest part was deciding which way we liked the quilt pieces. That part alone took about 30 min or an hour. HAHA! I guess we are a little bit undecisive! :) My favorite is the blue on the brown, however I think the brown on the blue is very soft. Could make a great welcome baby card! I made it a "Sympathy/I'm Sorry" card. I just felt like the quilt said to me "wrap me in comfort". LOVE IT!! Thanks Jen!

Giftcard Holder

Shelby needed a birthday card for a friend's birthday tomorrow. She wanted to make a card. We got her an iTunes gift card because the little girl got an ipod for her birthday. Thanks to Splitcoast Stampers, I found an awesome tut here .

Here is our try:

April Stamp Club

Below is a sketch that we were to follow for this months Stamp Club that the VERY talented Lisa picked. Thanks to my wonderful friend/demonstrator Jennifer I was able to complete this card and think it turned out quite cute!!

I colored the bunnies with watercolor pencils and used gamsol to make them look cute. The sky and grass are colored with chalk. :)

I hope you girls enjoy!!

Father's Day

I inherited the Noble Deer stamp set from Stampin Up!© My first attempt at making paper look like leather didn't go exactly as planned but overall I think it turned out pretty good. I also need to learn how to use those little embellishment things. The hammer did not work as well as I'd hoped it would. Anyway, this one will probably go to my father and father-in-law. I did buy some different paper to attempt this with so there will be an update on this blog once I get it finished. ~ also need to find a Happy Father's Day Stamp for this one. Michaels didn't have one when I went this last time...... still on the look out for that.

Hope you like!

Rainbow's and Sunshine

I saw a really cool idea, making this rainbow and I wanted to try it. It was my first attempt, I'll probably try it again, this one was pretty cheesy, but I think it looks pretty good!

You Are My Sunshine

I have had this thought in my head for weeks now on how to make this card. What I wanted it to look like etc. First, I couldn't find a circle cutter big enough, well I bought one. Then I finally sat down to make it, and now.. I don't like it. The sun is cute, but the face I could do without. BAH.. I can't even believe I'm posting it. Oh well. I guess with the good, you gotta post the bad too???

Cat's Meow

Shelby has been BEGGING to do some stamping with my stuff. Last night we came in and did some lookin around for some ideas and came up with this project. Shelby colored the orange cat and the grey is mine. She colored with the pencils and used the gamsol, she did pretty much everything except cut the card with the cutter. I was so proud of her! She did a great job, and wants to do another project tonight!! :)

Enjoy!
